Sanjiv Jhurani, comes with over 25 years of rich experience in banking and financial services industry primarily in the Operations Management and Operational risk domain. He has held various senior positions with multinational and private sector banks during his tenure in the banking industry. Sanjiv holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of San Francisco, USA.
As his last assignment with BFSI, Sanjiv served Deutsche Bank AG, India as Operations Head responsible for Trade, Cash & Treasury Operations. Prior to this he has worked as Chief Operating Officer for First Abu Dhabi Bank in India for 5 years and with BNP Paribas Mumbai for 8 years in various senior management roles within the Operations function.
He has worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank where he set up the bank’s back-office operations for transaction processing and account opening related activities. He also worked with IndusInd Bank for 7 years where he grew to National Trade Product Head responsible for identifying trade opportunities and cross-selling Trade Finance products to mid & large corporates.
During the earlier part of his career, Sanjiv has worked in Dubai where he was responsible for servicing the banking requirements of NRI clients based in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
