– Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Security Audit & Control Association, USA
– Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA
– Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, USA.
– Licentiate (Life Insurance) from the Insurance Institute of India.
CA Lokesh CHATURVEDI is the Founder of the firm M/S CHATURVEDI & ASSOCIATES (Chartered Accountants) since 2009, who is joined by an experienced professional team of experts as integral part of the establishment.
He has been one of the promoters of ELYMENTZ CONSULTING PVT. LTD., Bengaluru, a venture established in 2019 by technology professionals to provide information technology related services mainly in BFSI domain.
During his tenure with the industry, Lokesh significantly contributed to setting up of the Global In-house Business Process and Technology Center of Excellence as the Chairman & Managing Director of MIZUHO GLOBAL SERVICES INDIA PVT. LTD., in Mumbai, a fully owned subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group & Mizuho Bank Limited (Japan).
Previously, he has served as the Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of Société Générale Bank (French Multinational Bank) in India. Being part of the Asia-Pacific Management team, Lokesh was responsible for several strategic initiatives and transformation of the bank in India. In his previous role, he was also instrumental in setting up a global audit hub in India and to drive quality assurance programs for Group Audit function at Asia Pacific level. Prior to Société Générale, Lokesh has worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata AIG Life Insurance Co. Ltd, and Haribhakti & Co. (Chartered Accountants). He has managed end-to-end life cycle of banking products and services including Treasury & Forex, Credit, Trade Finance and Retail.
His areas of specialization include overall Banking & Financial Services mainly supporting mid office, back office and control functions. He has directly managed for banks and their subsidiaries, end-to-end support functions such as HR, IT, Security, Audit, Risk, Compliances, Governance & Internal Control Frameworks, Corporate Affairs, Project Management, Corporate Real Estate & Facility Management, CFO’s office (Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Taxation, Liquidity management, Accounts Payable), Regulatory Reporting, Regulatory Inspections & submissions, Banking Operations (treasury, credit, trade, KYC, deposits, ALM etc.). He has significant audit and compliance exposure to Equities broking, research, investment banking, wealth management / private banking / asset management company (mutual fund), leasing & fleet management.
